Newly-released features include a more robust delivery network and enhanced publishing capabilities

AUSTIN, TX – January 26th, 2023 – IgniteTech™, the company “Where Software Goes to Live™,” announced an exciting slate of new features to their cutting-edge Olive Software product that transforms print-first content into engaging, interactive online media. Since 2000, Olive Software has been delivering users with an online experience that is similar to that of reading a physical newspaper.

Transforming the way we consume online media, Olive Software 2.1 boasts an upgraded content delivery network that allows publishers to share eEditions with non-subscribers and limit access to content by geographical area. As well as the new access features, publishers will now be able to set access limits for non-subscribers for both free and shared content.

In addition to the upgraded delivery options, publishers now have access to enhanced publishing capabilities that allow increased functionality to promote and share eEdition content down to the page, section, and article level with non-subscribers. Support for metering content ranges from the hour through the month and is now available through third-party authorization parties such as Plenigo.

One of the most notable features available in the latest version of Olive Software is the ability for publishers to share content and enable corporate partners to share publication access with their customers. This not only increases revenue potential for publishers but also simplifies the overall delivery of the corporate subscription model that Olive Software provides.

“At IgniteTech, we are driven by innovation, and the ability to refine one of the most timeless simple pleasures of holding a newspaper in your hand is an exciting opportunity for us," said Eric Vaughan, CEO, IgniteTech. "We are dedicated to ensuring that our publisher partners have the most advanced technology they need to deliver critical content at the right moment each and every day. This newest release of innovation from IgniteTech for Olive customers is just part of the story, and publishers should stay tuned for more exciting news, scheduled for announcement in Q2 of this year, which will truly revolutionize the digital publishing market.”

Olive Software is available to customers of IgniteTech’s Unlimited program, the groundbreaking, Netflix-style licensing model that is available to organizations who are currently customers of an existing product in the IgniteTech software library that now houses more than 60 solutions across all industries, markets, and technologies.
