AUSTIN, Texas — July 18, 2019 — Ignite Technologies and ESW Capital announced today that Auto-Trol Technology is now part of Ignite’s enterprise solutions portfolio through a reorganization of ESW Capital’s operating companies.  

Auto-Trol, a technical configuration toolset, was previously aligned with ESW’s Versata portfolios.

As we iterate on these 3 vectors in our first 30, 60 and 90 days of customer discussions, we absolutely expect to be able to turbo-charge the customer experience and success with Auto-Trol.”

Auto-Trol includes two products: Konfig and Technical Illustrator. Customers use Konfig to effectively store documents, manage version control and automate workflows. With Technical Illustrator, customers harness the power of the “graphics language” for effective communication and to facilitate the creation of complex composite artwork, quickly, precisely and easily. With Auto-Trol, customers deliver the detailed technical illustrations that are a vital element for product assembly, operation, service, sales and training materials that companies rely upon to compete successfully.

By joining Ignite, Auto-Trol customers now have access to the company’s innovative Ignite Prime program, a one-of-a-kind customer benefit. The Ignite Prime program is an Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) which provides access to a robust catalog of 17 Ignite software solutions. The program enables customers to accelerate digital transformation initiatives and modernize sales, marketing, finance and IT operations on unprecedented, customer-friendly economic terms.  

With the merger, Auto-Trol will undergo a name change to Ignite Auto-Trol Solutions, Inc., and the Auto-Trol solution will be marketed, sold and supported as one of Ignite’s solutions for engineering and design professionals.
